God & Art - Part 2

Drawing 2 is a new class being offered this year. We'll expand your drawing knowledge and try a few different mediums like ink and colored pencils. We'll study quick drawing techniques, in-depth shading, using colors in pencil, perspective. If you are on a more intermediate level in your drawing experience you will have fun with this class. Please bring: papers, pencils, pencil sharpener, erasers, colored pencils, pen and ink, small paintbrush, a sheet of colored drawing paper, and a white drawing pencil.

God & Art - Painting 1

In Painting I, we study the three major painting mediums: Oil (oil not used in the classroom for allergy reasons), acrylic, and water color, painting materials including brushes and canvases, color mixing, techniques and styles, and history.
You'll be led on a journey from mixing colors, and still life, to doing a collage painting representing your life. Bring your own materials, keeping it as least expensive as you would like. We're enjoying the learning process and encouraging your journey in art. Pick up a class supply list at the Adult Ministry Booth. This class will continue in the Spring.
