Learn about our Core Values of Worship, Evangelism, Community, Stewardship, Prayer, Discipleship, and Ministry. In one class, the doctrines and beliefs of this church are discussed. In another class, Starlene Collins, our Director of Ministries, helps you discover your S.H.A.P.E. This is an exploration of your Spiritual Gifts, Heart or Passion, Abilities, Personality, and Experience.

Life's Healing Choices

This class will provide an encouraging atmosphere with practical, biblical aids to help us work through life's issues, which are often caused by our hurts, hang-ups, or habits that seem unbearable and/or unbeatable. With Him, others, and proven action steps, freedom can be obtained! We invite anyone to this class who wants to get freedom from these life patterns. This may be you, or you may know someone who is hurting and wants additional understanding to effectively resolve these issues.

Faith Based Job Search

If you are unemployed, underemployed, or looking for new job opportunities, this Christ-focused class intends to help you with the process of searching, applying, interviewing, and trusting God to provide you with the right position. This is an interactive class with a human resource professional who will take you through six-weeks of 90 minute classes that will both challenge and stimulate your job search process. Individual coaching is provided.

God & Art - Part 2

Drawing 2 is a new class being offered this year. We'll expand your drawing knowledge and try a few different mediums like ink and colored pencils. We'll study quick drawing techniques, in-depth shading, using colors in pencil, perspective. If you are on a more intermediate level in your drawing experience you will have fun with this class. Please bring: papers, pencils, pencil sharpener, erasers, colored pencils, pen and ink, small paintbrush, a sheet of colored drawing paper, and a white drawing pencil.

God & Art - Painting 1

In Painting I, we study the three major painting mediums: Oil (oil not used in the classroom for allergy reasons), acrylic, and water color, painting materials including brushes and canvases, color mixing, techniques and styles, and history. You'll be led on a journey from mixing colors, and still life, to doing a collage painting representing your life. Bring your own materials, keeping it as least expensive as you would like. We're enjoying the learning process and encouraging your journey in art. Pick up a class supply list at the Adult Ministry Booth. This class will continue in the Spring.
